Intercom and Alarm Installations
An intercom system is a two-way communication device. The system comprises of an intercom base station that enables visitors outside a building to communicate with visitors inside a building. The system transmits and receives audio and/or video.
An alarm system is a system that is designed to detect unauthorized entry into a premises, the system is a detourant against criminal elements and to notify the authorities should entry be gained. An alarm system consists of a master control panel, a keypad for arming and disarming the system, a selection of sensors for detecting movement and a warning signal such as a siren and/or strobe lights.
CCTV Installations
Closed circuit television monitoring is a surveillance system that utlises motion cameras and monitors to record daily activities. The system is used to detour criminal elements and if an incident occurs, record the event so the guilty parties can be apprehended and prosecuted.

Inverter Battery Backup
A battery backup system is a system that provides power when the primary source of power is interrupted, such as in the event of load shedding. The system consists of an inverter/s, battery bank and charge controller. Certain inverters come with a built in charge controller.
The system can provide power for all load sizes depending on the inverter size and battery bank capacity. The system can be gridtied to your distribution board, so in the event of the main power supply being interrupted, the backup system will initiate and carry the load until the main power source is restored. The transition is seamless.The battery bank is charged by the primary source of power.
Portable Battery Backup
A portable battery backup system works on the same basis as above, but only powers smaller loads. It is a plug and play system that does not require installation. The system can be bought as an all in one compact unit in a cabinet or as separate components. The unit is charged by the primary source of power.
Solar PV Systems
A renewable energy system that functions similar to the battery backup unit, but uses the suns energy to power your load. The system comprises of solar modules, inverter/s and a charge controller, if not built into the inverter. The system can function with or without a battery bank.
A system without a battery bank will produce power to carry your load while the sun is out, during the evening the load would revert back to a council main power supply. A system with a battery bank, will power you load continuously and no council supply is necessary, unless as an overflow. The sun charges the battery bank during the day and the battery bank will carry your load during the evenings.
